Visual Studio Code, has a whole lot of extensions, they come with a kind of Extension-store (just like App store for your apps) called Market Place. There are extensions for debugging code, formatting code, key maps, development technologies (like heroku, github, docker, azure), IDE themes, code linters, code snippets and many other categories.

In this article I would highlight 10 must-have VS Code Extensions this 2020.

10. Markdown preview enhanced

Markdown Preview Enhanced is an extension that provides you with many useful functionalities such as automatic scroll sync, math typesetting, mermaid, PlantUML, pandoc, PDF export, code chunk, presentation writer, etc. A lot of its ideas are inspired by Markdown Preview Plus and RStudio Markdown.
